Engraved Watch Rolex Daytona – This hand engraved Rolex was a work of joy for me. Francois Pienaar, the captain of the 95 World Cup Championship Rugby Team from South Africa contacted me and commissioned me to engrave this watch for him. He asked me for a Chinese theme that included a dragon. Well over 120 hours of deep relief hand engraving went into this project. The Chinese characters on the clasp represent his name. I will post some additional pictures once the watch is reassembled. Francois is very pleased and I can’t wait to see pictures of it on his wrist. Francois and his great work with Nelson Mandela was portrayed in the movie “Invictus”.
